The Role of the Presidency Your Blog- Due Friday

Take 15mins and research the Internet on the role of the presidency.

This site listed several roles that the president has to maintain for the American citizens. some of these roles include things like Chief of State, and Chief Executive. some things he does in those roles are maintaining Peace and awarding medals for tasks of bravery.

This site explained the Presidents duties and powers he holds. for example he can veto a bill that the Senate or House of Representatives deems necessary. It also stated the President is Chief of Government.

This article is a  little biased but has good info on Obama who is a crisis President. it talks about how he should handle the crisis in the Middle East and North Africa. It also goes in depth on how and what his role is to the American People and the American economy.

Economy Assignment Your Blog

With the help of your textbook and Ch 23, please explain the differences among capitalism, socialism and communism.   Then explain the pros and cons that each hold. 

Capitalism is what i think of when i think of the American economy which is a free enterprise system.  this system is where a enterpenuer can do what he wants with few government restrictions. laissez faire theroy is where there is no goverment controlland uaslly is positive for the economy
 
Socilaisim is a political and economic pillosiphy where wealth should be equally distributed by the govenment. pros every one is equal cons are no one can do what they want
 
Cmmunisim:is called a collective ideollegy witch requries the state ownership of land and other productive property pro your equal no class system cons cant own land and cant choose your job

1.  Pick two countries in Chapter 22 and provide an in depth paragraph on their government and how it operates.
Great Brittan's Government operates in a strange unorthodox matter. they have a lower house, the House of Commons, and an upper house, The House of Lords. The House of Commons has more power than the House of Lords. Their lead official is a prime minster and the royal family has little to no control on political issues.

Russisa's government was once a communist country but they are now leaning towards democracy. the major thing for the fall of Communism in Russia was the break up of the soviet union. The new Russian constitution was founded in 1993. Russia has one political party. 

2. What are some of the similarities of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
they all have a form of government and have rich histories in there government and are pretty successful governments

3. What are some of the differences of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
The differences are there forms of governments. There is communism and democracy concepts in the countries we learned about.

4. Which country in Chapter 22 do you believe has the strongest government and why?
Great Brittan has the strongest government because it has been around the longest and they are a world leader in many industries.

5. In what ways does the U.S. government relate to the methods of governments listed in Chapter 22?

The U.S. relates because it is a democracy like Japan and the U.K.
